This is a 19-building residential community situated in one of the biggest municipalities of the capital of Belgium. From 1969 to 1990, it used to be a large Veterinary Medicine school complex. As the whole faculty was moved to the Sart-Tilman campus of the University of Liege, this vast site remained unused and was gradually turned into a walled residential community. Today, its renovated neo-renaissance facades, green passages and impressive fences come in contrast with the one and only remaining abandoned building from the 1900s. The basement light was more than enough for discovering its creepy treasures. The forgotten horror labs still capture the monstrous creations of the past, what a strange delight to have been there!

  1. Hi There. Great pics, thanks for sharing. I am planning to take some friends to this place on Friday. What’s the best method of entry?
